Is WARDOGS coming to PS5 or Xbox?
Yes, eventually. Bulkhead has confirmed it plans to bring WARDOGS to Xbox and PlayStation, saying "we are coming to console, that is our plan, we just do not know when." No date, year or window has been announced. WARDOGS launches on PC via Steam Early Access first.
Yes — but with no date attached, and that distinction is the whole answer.
Bulkhead addressed this directly in its March 2026 “Answering Your Questions” update:
We absolutely want to come to Xbox and PlayStation. Don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten about you guys. We’re coming to console. That’s our plan, we just don’t know when.
Two things are true at once here, and coverage usually flattens one of them:
- A console version is planned. This is a stated commitment from the developer, not a rumour and not a “we’ll see”.
- No window exists. Not a year, not a quarter, not “after Early Access”. Anyone quoting you a console release date is guessing.
The likely shape, given WARDOGS launches into Steam Early Access and expects to stay there one to two years, is that console versions land during or after that period. That is inference, not announcement.
One knock-on worth knowing: this makes controller support a question of when rather than whether, since you cannot ship on PlayStation and Xbox without it — even though WARDOGS is not currently listed as controller-supported on Steam.
