How do I get into WARDOGS?
From 16:00 UTC on 10 September 2026 you buy it: WARDOGS is on sale in Steam Early Access at $39.99, with no invite, key, sign-up or queue. Every gate before that is gone. The Closed Alpha in August went through a FirstLook hardware survey, and the two Closed Betas in August and September were guaranteed by pre-order or granted in waves through the Request Access button on Steam. None of those routes exists any more.
You buy it. From 16:00 UTC on 10 September 2026 WARDOGS is on sale in Steam Early Access at $39.99, and there is no invite, key, sign-up or queue between you and the game. Anyone offering a WARDOGS key or code is selling something Bulkhead does not issue.
The gates that used to exist are all gone, and they are worth knowing about only because guides written in the summer still describe them:
- Closed Alpha, 7–9 August. Invite only, through a FirstLook account at community.wardogs.com, a linked Discord, and a hardware survey whose first-round deadline was 16 July.
- Closed Beta 01, 21–24 August, and Closed Beta 02, 3–6 September. A pre-order guaranteed a place; the free Request Access button on the Steam page entered you for an invite, sent in waves. The last night of Beta 02 was opened to everyone.
If you own the game and still cannot get in, that is a different question with a different page: the live outage tracker says whether the servers are up, and the error hub has the fix for each code.
