The two shells
price per round
Buckshot
no price
Fires a spread of pellets. Neither the pellet count nor the damage has ever been published.

Rifled Slug
no price
Fires a single solid projectile. Its damage has never been published.
Shotguns do not use the three-way split. Every other calibre in the game is loaded as standard, hollow point or armour piercing. 12 Gauge is loaded as buckshot or slug — a choice about how many projectiles leave the barrel rather than what happens when one arrives.
What fires 12 Gauge
2 weaponsHow to read this
The weapon list is checked three ways — what each weapon prints on its own vendor card, what the game files it under, and which magazines it takes. All three agree.
Shells have never carried a price. Nothing in the alpha put a figure on 12 Gauge, so both rows above are blank rather than guessed from a neighbouring calibre.
Recorded during the Closed Alpha and held until Bulkhead lifted its content embargo on 11 August 2026. How we source and label everything.
