The game's own wording, as the vendor card prints it.
At $1,200 the infrared range finder is 12% of the $10,000 you start a round with, and the dearest of the 5 priced recon items.
Which filter it sits on
The vendor files this under Recon — spotting, which the economy pays for — which is one of the 6 filters on the Items tab and holds 7 rows of the 58 we have recorded.
The game's internal tag for that filter is recon. The vendor screen says RECON, and so does this page.
Where the price comes from
We have no price for the infrared range finder. That is not the same claim as nobody selling it — a price and a vendor tag always arrive together or not at all, so an item can sit on the shelf and still reach us with neither. The Halligan Bar does exactly that.
