WARDOGS error 1147405300: failed when joining a server

Published Data as of Season 2 · 15 Oct 2026

This one is not your machine

Both times this code appeared, every server was full at that moment. It is a capacity failure at join time rather than a problem with your install, and it cleared when Bulkhead scaled the servers up.

What you see

The game launches, signs in and reaches the server list, and the failure comes at the moment you try to join. Some players are placed in a region that is not theirs on the way.

What to do instead

The cause is not on your machine, so reinstalling and verifying will not reach it. These are the things that actually help while it lasts.

  1. 01 Check the last three digits before you do anything else

    Confirmed

The 1147405xxx codes are not one fault. 1147405308 is a failure to authenticate, usually after a queue; 1147405309 is the servers refusing your login outright; 1147405316 is the same capacity wall as this code, under the number the Closed Beta build used for it. If yours ends 300, read on.

  2. 02 Look at whether everyone else is hitting it at the same moment

    Reported

This is the fastest way to tell. Both times this code appeared in public, the chat around it was solid with players saying every server was full. If the report count on our status page is climbing and other people are describing the same wall, there is nothing at your end to fix and the answer is to wait.

  3. 03 Try a region that is not the busiest one

    Reported

Both players who wrote it up on Reddit were placed in a region that was not theirs — one in the EU pushed into a North American queue, one in Russia onto a US server. That is what capacity overflow looks like from the inside. Picking a single, quieter region in the server browser is worth more than any local repair.

  4. 04 Do not bother with the EasyAntiCheat folder

    Unconfirmed

One player reported that deleting it and verifying files cleared this code, and said himself it may have been luck. He is very likely right: the developers were scaling servers up in the same minutes he tried it. It is harmless, it is two minutes, and it is not why anyone got in.

Did this fix it for you?

Notes from other players who hit this code. Say what worked, what did not, and which region you are in — a fix that only works in one place is worth knowing about. Best-rated first, and there is no time limit: an answer from the first beta is still an answer.

No comments yet. Be the first to say whether this worked.

Search results for this code are thin, and the ones that exist point at deleting an anti-cheat folder. That is not what happened, and the record is clear enough to say so.

What was actually going on

1147405300 shows up twice in public. Both times, the servers were full.

The first is 7 August 2026, the opening of the Closed Alpha. Two players named the code in the WARDOGS Discord within six minutes of each other, and the messages either side of them are wall to wall with the same complaint — every server full, only fourteen in the EU, nobody able to get in. In that same minute a Bulkhead developer account replied in the channel to say the servers are spinning up and to wait. A thread on r/WarDogs asking what the code meant went up at the same time.

The second is 21 August, the evening Closed Beta 01 opened, when the login queue ran past 50,000. One message, unanswered, in a channel moving too fast for anyone to catch it.

Both are capacity moments. Neither is a broken install.

Why the region detail matters

The one thing the two Reddit reports had in common, beyond the number, is that both players ended up somewhere they should not have been: one in the EU was put into a North American queue, and the poster, in Russia, ended up on a US server. Read on its own that looks like a matchmaking bug. Read against a chat full of people saying the European servers were full, it is what overflow looks like from the inside — the game reaching past a full region to find you anything at all.

The fix that is not a fix

The advice circulating for this code — delete the EasyAntiCheat folder, verify the game files — comes from a single Reddit comment, from a player who had taken it from a thread about a different error entirely and who said it may have been luck. Everything we can see says he was right. He tried it during the same stretch of minutes in which a developer was saying capacity was coming online, and then he got into a server.

We have left it on the page, graded unconfirmed, because it costs two minutes and does no harm. It is not the reason anybody got in, and a page that tells you to reinstall your way out of a full server has wasted your evening.

If you are hitting this during Early Access

Check the number again. Early Access opens on 10 September and the capacity wall, when it comes, will most likely carry 1147405316 — that is the code the Closed Beta build used for the same thing, and on 23 August it arrived with the words "Failed to join server. Server queue is full" printed underneath it. Our own report tracker has counted 126 messages naming a 1147405xxx code since it opened, and not one of them is 1147405300.
