Empty server browser

WARDOGS shows no servers in the browser

Published Updated Data as of Season 1 · 10 Sept 2026

This one is not your machine

During the betas an empty browser was the region filter: select exactly one. On launch night, after the hotfix, it was the servers being brought back in batches. From Patch 0.11 on 14 September the browser has two tabs, Community and Official, and only Community has filters to get wrong.

What you see

The server browser is completely empty, or shows servers that will not let you in despite reading 80/100.

Also reported as: 1147405316 · no servers found · server list empty · no servers listed · no server listed · single server listed · servers full but not full · failed to join server. server queue is full · server browser empty · blank server browser · no servers in the server browser · no servers showing · not even one server listed

What to do instead

The cause is not on your machine, so reinstalling and verifying will not reach it. These are the things that actually help while it lasts.

  1. 01 On launch night: an empty browser after the hotfix is the batching, not your filter

    Reported

Launch Stability Hotfix #1 went out at 20:20 UTC on 10 September, put everyone back through the login queue and said access would be reopened in controlled batches as servers filled. In the two hours after it, players who cleared the queue reported an empty browser in every region, including ones who had already narrowed to a single region. That is the server side coming back, and the region filter has nothing to act on. Stay on the browser and refresh; restarting puts you back in the queue.

  2. 02 Check which tab you are on, then the filters

    Confirmed

From Patch 0.11 on 14 September the browser is two tabs. Official has no filters at all, so an empty Official list is not a filter problem. Community has the filters, a text search and a Show Empty/Full toggle on the quick bar, and any of those left set can empty it. Before the patch, the Region selector was the one to check: with more than one region selected, the list came back empty rather than combined, so pick exactly one.

  3. 03 Join a server with 10 to 20 players rather than a full one

    Reported

Low-population servers fill within minutes, and you will be playing sooner than by queueing for a busy one.

  4. 04 Try a neighbouring region

    Confirmed

EU Central ran out of capacity during the beta while EU East had room. The extra latency is worth it against not playing.

Did this fix it for you?

Notes from other players who hit this code. Say what worked, what did not, and which region you are in — a fix that only works in one place is worth knowing about. Best-rated first, and there is no time limit: an answer from the first beta is still an answer.

The one-region cap was deliberate and temporary. Multi-region search is the normal behaviour and was switched off for the beta so Bulkhead could measure how the regions scaled under load independently. It was expected back for Early Access; whether it is, launch night did not settle, because the browser had a different reason to be empty that evening.

A server reading 80/100 that still refuses you is a different thing wearing the same clothes: slots are reserved as players filter in, so the count you see lags what the server has actually committed.

Launch night

The one-region rule was the whole page until 10 September. That evening the browser was empty for a reason the filter cannot touch: at 20:20 UTC Bulkhead shipped Launch Stability Hotfix #1, put every player back into the login queue, and said it would readmit them in controlled batches, widening them as servers filled. Players who came out of that queue in the following two hours reported no servers in any region — a blank list, not a filtered one — and at least one had already narrowed to a single region before writing in.

An empty browser in those conditions is the server side being brought back, and the answer is to stay on it rather than requeue. If a server does appear and refuses you at the moment you click, with a timeout, that is error 1628505091, which the same hotfix names.

From Patch 0.11

Bulkhead rebuilt the browser in Patch 0.11, delivered in a maintenance window from 08:00 UTC on 14 September. It is now two browsers. Official lost its filters entirely, because there are no official modified game modes to filter for. Community kept them, made them more reliable, and added a text search and a Show Empty/Full toggle.

So the first question for an empty list is which tab you are looking at. An empty Official tab cannot be your filter. An empty Community tab usually is: a search term left in the box or Show Empty/Full switched the wrong way hides servers exactly as the region filter used to. Community server IDs also persist through restarts now, so if you know the server you want, joining by ID skips the list altogether.
