Outside the numbered ladder, and now known to be outside armour altogether: zero damage reduction, zero durability. It is concealment, and it replaces the tier you would otherwise wear rather than ranking against it.
What it stops
Nothing. Zero damage reduction and zero durability — the ghillie helmet takes a bullet exactly as bare skin does. It answers a question this site has carried open since the alpha: it is concealment, and it replaces armour rather than ranking anywhere on the ladder. At $2,500 you are buying the look, and giving up whatever the tier you would otherwise wear was worth.
