WARDOGS now has five approved server hosts. On 26 October Bulkhead added GG Host and 1of1 Servers to QONZER, BisectHosting and xREALM, the three it named before launch. It posted on X:
"We've approved two new hosting partners. GG Host [...] 1of1 Servers [...] Community Servers are in Early Access along with the game, and we'll announce more features to better support server admins soon."
Nothing went to the Steam news hub. The model has not changed: Bulkhead does not release the server code, so you rent from an approved host or you do not run a server.
What do the new hosts charge?
Both sell the same three sizes as the first three hosts. We read these prices off each order page on 1 November (Confirmed):
| Size | GG Host | 1of1 Servers | xREALM |
|---|---|---|---|
| 60 players | $69.99 a month | $69.99 | $69.99 |
| 80 players | $79.99 | $89.98 | $79.99 |
| 100 players | $114.99 | $99.98 | $114.99 |
GG Host takes $5 a month off in North America East. 1of1 Servers saves 4% if you pay quarterly and 11% half-yearly. For a full 100-player match, 1of1 is $15 a month cheaper than GG Host or xREALM, at about $1 a player.
Where can you actually rent one?
Mostly in North America, for now. On paper GG Host covers every region in the in-game server browser, including South America, Oceania and Africa (South). On 1 November its order page showed only North America East and Central in stock. Every other region read "SOLD OUT!", with a note that more hardware is "imminent".
1of1 Servers is live in Ashburn, Dallas and London. It lists Frankfurt, Singapore, Sydney and Johannesburg as coming soon. Johannesburg would be the first African city any approved host has named; South Africa was the first thing players asked about when the hosts were announced in September.
Does progress on a community server count?
Yes, according to GG Host and PCGamesN (Reported). GG Host's page says cash and XP earned on a community server "go to the same account as on the official servers". PCGamesN reported the same on 27 October. Bulkhead's own post does not say it. Before this, nobody had answered the question for certain.
GG Host's page adds that Bulkhead permanently bans accounts caught XP farming. It also says hosts caught exploiting the Season 2 faction bonus will be punished (Reported, from the host's page).
What you still cannot do
Install mods or upload server files. GG Host says it directly: "There are no server files to edit and no mods." PCGamesN says the same. 1of1's page lists "modding support" in its control-panel features, but that panel copy is generic text used for every game it hosts. For WARDOGS, Bulkhead sets the build and pushes the updates. Admins change map rotation, team locks, join rules and bans through each host's own panel and Bulkhead's RCON tool.
