Vehicle notes
Replaced the UH-1Y in Steam build 25098628 (Closed Beta 02, 3 September 2026). The build's own UI textures for ROT_04 are localised 'Z20 Lakota' and 'Z20 Lakota [Miniguns]', the same transport-and-armed-transport pair the UH-1Y filled, and the airframe in the vendor art is a different helicopter, not a rename. The price and the Pilot gate are carried from the UH-1Y row this replaces — the progression snapshot predates the swap and the build ships no ROT_04 node — so they are the one place on this page the old airframe still speaks; a first-hand tile read replaces them. No stats block: the ROT_01 figures were the UH-1Y's and do not transfer. Season 1 changelog, 9 September 2026 (official): unlock cut from $50,000 to $35,000.
How you get one
The Z20 LAKOTA has a purchase price of $7,400; it is 74% of the $10,000 every account gets once — and that money does not come back. Cash carries between matches in WARDOGS and what you lose stays lost, so the question is not whether you can afford it now but whether you can afford to lose it twice.
On top of the price, the Z20 LAKOTA carries a one-off unlock of $35,000 — paid once to add it to what you can buy, which is 350% of the entire starting balance. That figure is from the imported progression snapshot rather than the tile, so it is reported, not confirmed.
The Z20 LAKOTA is not for sale at any price until you reach Pilot Lvl 10. That gate reads against your Pilot level, which is its own track — separate from the Driver level the vendor's land transports gate on, and separate again from the Wardog level its tanks need. WARDOGS has no fixed classes: progression runs on tracks earned by using the relevant gear, so time behind a wheel buys you nothing in the air.
