WARDOGS Driver guide: Season 2 logistics pay

Season 2 halved what a pallet pays, added return-trip streaks and moved artillery XP to Driver. What a run earns now, what the 15 October fix changed and why zone in-and-out farming gets you banned.

In Season 2 a supply run pays about half what it did in Season 1, and you earn the difference back by not abandoning the truck. Bulkhead cut the base reward for a pallet from $2,500 to $1,250, then added streak bonuses for every consecutive delivery and return trip. Artillery now levels Driver, and the heavy tank got dearer. One thing not to do: drive in and out of the zone to farm the streak. Players doing that are getting 24-hour bans.

This guide is the Driver and logistics job as it stands on 16 October 2026: what changed in the Season 2 patch notes, what Bulkhead changed again a day later, and what is still unclear. Evergreen material from the Season 1 version of this page (prices, vehicles, what you haul) is kept and marked where it has not been re-checked. For where supplies end up, start with how to build a FOB.

At a glance

Season 2
Deploy a supply pallet $1,250 and 400 XP (was $2,500 and 500 XP)
Return trip, ground vehicle $150 and 50 XP (was $250 and 100 XP)
Return-trip streak +$50 and +25 XP per trip in a row, up to 10
Artillery XP Driver (was Support)
L2A6 $22,000 a spawn (was $14,000)
T-72B3 $16,000 a spawn · Driver 20, $250,000 unlock
Level 20 111,500 XP (was 250,000)

Source for every row: the Season 02 patch notes, 14 October. Confirmed, with the base-value caveat above.

What changed for Drivers in Season 2?

Base logistics pay is lower and a bonus for consecutive work sits on top. The notes say it plainly: base rewards are down, and "new delivery streaks add a bonus for every consecutive run" so logistics players make return trips instead of abandoning their vehicles.

Delivery streak (consecutive) Bonus per item Cap
Return trips +$50 and +25 XP 10
Pallets +$250 and +100 XP (first listed as +$125 and +50 XP) 10
Crates +$100 and +50 XP (first listed as +$50 and +25 XP) 10
Players +$25 and +5 XP 25

The base rewards those streaks sit on moved too:

Event Season 1 Season 2
Deploy supply pallet $2,500 · 500 XP $1,250 · 400 XP
Deploy supply pallet, from a ground vehicle 750 XP 500 XP
Deploy small supply crate $500 · 250 XP $250 · 200 XP
Deploy large supply crate $1,000 · 500 XP $500 · 400 XP
Small / large crate from an air vehicle 200 / 400 XP 150 / 300 XP
Return trip, ground vehicle $250 · 100 XP $150 · 50 XP
Player delivered $150 · 50 XP $100 · 25 XP
Player delivered, ground vehicle $500 $350

Three other changes matter to a Driver:

  • Artillery now gives Driver XP, where it paid Support before. Artillery crews now level the vehicle track. The SPH-2 itself moved into Driver, at level 31 for $350,000, down from Wardog level 90 and $500,000.
  • Repair XP follows the vehicle. It goes to Driver or Pilot depending on what you repair, instead of a flat Support amount. The notes do not list the amounts.
  • Level 20 costs 111,500 XP, down from 250,000, so Driver unlocks arrive sooner. More on what that did in the early-tanks section.

A reminder on the money: the corrected notes give in-zone values, but Bulkhead has not said what a delivery outside the Control Zone pays, so we do not add up a per-run total. If you log a run, the cash and XP lines on the end screen are enough. Players on r/WarDogs called the streaks "a little underwhelming" at launch, which is what the correction above answers. That is Reported, from the thread title and KingHoward's reply; we have not verified any player's tally.

What did Bulkhead change on 15 October?

It made logistics streak bonuses build back to Season 1 pacing, as a temporary fix. In a video posted by @WARDOGS on X on the evening of 15 October, Bulkhead said Driver XP had been set wrong. The figures it gave:

Claim What Bulkhead says
Driver pick rate About 10% last season, about 18% now
Logistics, Driver, Pilot 40–50% faster up the curve than the other roles
Temporary fix Logistics streak bonuses build back to Season 1 pacing
Next step A later hotfix may raise Driver XP again; no date given

Our full write-up is in the news post. The practical reading: the streak is not final, so a rate you worked out on launch day may be out of date by the time you read this. Check your own end-of-match screen.

Can you farm the zone for logistics XP?

No, and Bulkhead is banning people for it. Players who repeatedly drove in and out of the zone to farm logistics XP are getting 24-hour temporary bans. Bulkhead put the number at fewer than 1,000 players and called it "very clearly exploiting". Do not do it, and do not teach it.

Players on Discord report that the bans also reset XP to 0, and some on Steam say they got longer bans. Those are Reported, and Bulkhead has said neither. What is confirmed is the wider policy: since Update 0.1.2 repeat exploit abuse can mean a permanent ban without warning, and a cash exploit has meant a reset of cash and XP to zero. What gets you banned →

The honest way to earn the streak is the way the notes describe: deliver, drive back, deliver again. The same logic closed the old supply-crate loop in Season 1, where any item under $75 pays 1 XP on a sale and crate markups were capped at 1–200.

What do vehicles cost a Driver in Season 2?

Vehicle Spawn price Unlock Season 2 change
Ural $5,000 Driver 3, $35,000 Not in the Season 2 lists
Kodiak [Pickup] $3,000 Driver 10, $35,000 Not in the Season 2 lists
Ural Defender $7,200 (was $6,000) Driver 15 (was 18) Dearer, earlier
Wolf-110 $2,200 Driver 8, $50,000 New
T-72B3 $16,000 Driver 20, $250,000 New
Flakpanzer Gepard $14,000 Driver 25, $300,000 New
L2A6 $22,000 (was $14,000) Driver 35, $500,000 Dearer
SPH-2 Not in the Season 2 price lists Driver 31, $350,000 (was Wardog 90, $500,000) Moved to Driver

The Large Crate unlock moved from Driver 16 to Driver 17. The Ural and Kodiak [Pickup] rows are the Season 1 figures; Season 2 does not list them as changed, but we have not re-read the vendor for them. The Ural remains the first proper hauler most players can reach.

On the armour side, the T-72B3 is "slower than the L2A6, but cheaper and slightly more fuel-efficient", in Bulkhead's words. It does not say by how much, and we have no figure for speed or fuel use. Destroying one pays the enemy $8,000, against $11,000 for an L2A6 (down from $14,000). Other destroyed rewards a Driver should know, all from the same notes:

  • Ural $1,000 (was $2,500), Ural Defender $3,600, Defender [M249] $4,750.
  • Wolf-110 $450, Wolf-110 [M2 Browning] $3,900.
  • Flakpanzer Gepard $7,000, SPH-2 $8,000 (was $14,000).

Armed variants now pay more for the kill, so an unarmed truck is a smaller prize than before. That is a point in your favour as a hauler, though the notes do not mention it as a goal.

Know what you are hauling

Evergreen, from the Closed Alpha. Logistics runs on two kinds of box. Pallets are sealed, single-purpose and meant for a FOB. Crates are general storage you fill yourself.

Item Price Slots Health
Build, Ammo, Fuel or Mechanical pallet $400 12 800
Small Crate $150 24 150
Small Armoured Crate $500 24 300
Large Crate $300 35 250
Large Armoured Crate $800 35 —

A build pallet holds 1,800 Build Supplies, against $10 a unit bought loose, which is why the pallet is the way to stock a base. Prices are as observed in the alpha and the Season 1 build; Season 2 does not list them as changed. Each of the four pallet types feeds a different job at the FOB: building, reloading emplacements, refuelling and repairing. The FOB guide sets out which is which.

Watch the drop height. In our alpha data a pallet broke after roughly 60 m of free fall, so a pilot releasing from altitude delivers splinters. Parachutes also got stricter in Season 2: they will not open below about 10 m, and a pull under roughly 50 m while falling fast means fall damage.

Helicopters carry crates rather than pallets in any quantity: the Z20 Lakota, and the MH-6 Little Bird at $6,250 a spawn. The Lakota is Pilot 10 for $35,000 and $7,400 a spawn as of Season 1. The helicopter guide covers staying in the air.

How do you deal with early tanks?

Get a launcher before you meet a tank, and flank it rather than shoot the front. This is the live complaint. Bulkhead's own explanation, in the 15 October video, is that Driver XP was set so fast that players reached the top vehicle unlocks "before others had launchers to fight them". The news post has the numbers. Players on r/WarDogs reported tanks on day one and level 140s within a day of launch; those threads are Reported, and we have not verified the levels.

What the site holds on the options, with Season 2 prices where the notes changed them:

Option Price Unlock What its card says
Improvised Explosive Device $300 (Season 1) none Remotely detonated, single use
RPG-7 $1,800 (was $2,000) Support 5, $30,000 Infantry and light armoured vehicles
MAAWS $2,400 (was $2,600) Support 20, $125,000 (Season 1) Light and armoured vehicle targets
MGL-40 $7,500 (was $6,000) Support 35, $200,000 (Season 1) Infantry and unarmoured vehicles
AT Mine $650 (Season 1) Support 25, $75,000 Triggered by vehicles only

Read the last column before you buy. The RPG-7 does not claim tanks, and the MGL-40 does not claim armour at all. The MAAWS is the launcher whose card says armoured. Nobody has published how many hits any of them take to kill a tank, and we are not going to estimate it.

Two pieces of advice stand up without a number. The L2A6's front carries reactive armour, so go for the tracks or the rear. And players report that an explosive device on the rear engine deck kills a tank in one; that is a community finding, not a rule, and nobody has confirmed it for the T-72B3. Where to hit a vehicle →

If you are the Driver in the tank, the same table is the checklist of what is coming for you. Fighting a Driver who has just unlocked a T-72B3 is the point of the Limited Mode servers Bulkhead first announced for Update 0.25, at the end of October or the start of November. They switch off level 4 armour, the heavy tank and artillery, per the news post. A developer reply on Steam now says they arrive with Season 3 on 12 November (Reported). Season 3 and Limited Mode →

What nobody has confirmed

  • What a delivery pays outside the Control Zone. The corrected notes list in-zone values only.
  • Where the streak settles. The 15 October fix is described as temporary.
  • The repair XP amounts by vehicle.
  • How much slower and more fuel-efficient the T-72B3 is than the L2A6.
  • Whether a teammate opening a pallet pays the Season 1 beta figure of $1,800. That number came from a single beta source and Season 2 does not mention it.
  • Whether a returned vehicle refunds any of its spawn price.

If you log a delivery, send the cash and XP lines and we will put them in the tables with a date. Until then: deliver, drive back, deliver again, and leave the zone-hopping alone.

Common questions

How much does a supply pallet pay in WARDOGS Season 2?

The Season 2 patch notes list 1,250 dollars and 400 XP for deploying a supply pallet, down from 2,500 dollars and 500 XP in Season 1. Dropping it from a ground vehicle pays 500 XP instead. A streak bonus of 250 dollars and 100 XP per pallet in a row, up to 10, sits on top. Bulkhead corrected the logistics section after launch so the figures show what you actually receive in the Control Zone.

What are logistics streaks in WARDOGS?

A bonus for consecutive deliveries introduced in Season 2: 50 dollars and 25 XP per return trip in a row up to 10, 125 dollars and 50 XP per pallet up to 10, 50 dollars and 25 XP per crate up to 10, and 25 dollars and 5 XP per player up to 25. On 15 October Bulkhead made a temporary change so the streak builds back to Season 1 pacing.

Does artillery give Driver XP in Season 2?

Yes. The Season 2 patch notes say artillery now gives Driver XP instead of Support XP. Repair XP also moves, going to the Driver or Pilot track depending on the vehicle you repair.

Can you get banned for farming the zone in WARDOGS?

Yes. Bulkhead said on 15 October that players who repeatedly drove in and out of the zone to farm logistics XP were getting 24 hour temporary bans, fewer than 1,000 players in total. Repeat exploit abuse can mean a permanent ban.

How much does the L2A6 cost in Season 2?

The L2A6 rose from 14,000 dollars to 22,000 dollars at the vendor. Its destroyed reward fell from 14,000 dollars to 11,000 dollars. It still unlocks at Driver 35 for 500,000 dollars. The cheaper T-72B3 unlocks at Driver 20 for 250,000 dollars and costs 16,000 dollars a spawn.
