What is the Vault in WARDOGS?

The Vault is where your Black Market purchases sit until you use them. Buy or earn a gold bar, item, weapon or vehicle through the Black Market rather than the in-match vendor, and it lands in your personal Vault, redeemable for free the next time you play. Bulkhead's own description, from its April dev video:

"Every gold bar, item, weapon, or vehicle you obtain from the black market ends up in your personal vault and is redeemable for free in future matches. The size of your vault will be capped but upgradeable permanently."

Why it matters

A weapon a dealer smuggles you overnight, or gear a side business produces while you are offline, would otherwise be just a cash transaction. The Vault is what turns that into an actual in-match advantage: you draw it from the Vault for free at the vendor screen instead of paying for it again.

The cap is the catch

Vault space is limited, and the limit is deliberate — it is the mechanic Bulkhead uses to keep the whole Black Market metagame from being unbounded. Space can be permanently upgraded, but no starting capacity or upgrade cost has been published. The Closed Beta build shipped with the Vault at zero space and its own error message reading "There is no available space in your vault", so the system existed before there was anything to hold.
