Closed Alpha set for 7–9 August
Bulkhead confirms the first public hands-on build: three days, Steam only, invite gated through the FirstLook programme.
The first WARDOGS Closed Alpha runs from 7 to 9 August 2026. It is Steam-only and invite-only, with access handed out through Bulkhead’s FirstLook programme rather than sold or opened to everyone.
Bulkhead says it is distributing tens of thousands of invites. The route in is to create a FirstLook account at community.wardogs.com, join the official Discord, link Steam and Discord to FirstLook, and complete the hardware survey — the studio’s own post describes survey completers as “basically guaranteed to get in”.
The alpha is billed as showing combined-arms combat with helicopters, tanks and artillery, plus the destructible environments. Which specific vehicles, weapons or map areas are switched on for the test has not been detailed.
