First-round invite deadline passes
The FirstLook hardware survey cut-off for the opening wave of Closed Alpha invites has gone. Signing up now means waiting on a later wave.
Bulkhead set roughly 8am CST on 16 July as the cut-off for completing the FirstLook hardware survey in time for the first round of Closed Alpha invites.
That date has passed. If you are signing up now, you are not in that round.
This is worth stating plainly because a lot of coverage still frames the survey as a guaranteed way in without mentioning the deadline attached to it. Signing up remains sensible — invites continued going out in the run-up to 7 August, and the survey presumably still helps for later waves — but it is no longer the near-certainty it was in early July.
