Seventeen hours before the 16:00 UTC unlock, Bulkhead posted the changelog for the build that launches. Its one-line framing: "everything that changed between the beta and the Early Access release." Pre-load is live on Steam. The post itself is the first time the studio has put a price or an unlock level in writing, and it does so by listing every one that moved.
The economy table, and what it settles
Every outgoing figure in the post equals what the catalogue has carried since the 2 September progression import — the Dune Buggy's $35,000 unlock, the Kodiak [Pickup]'s $15,000, the SPH-2's $400,000, the Large Hammer's $1,600 vendor price — to the dollar and the level. That import was labelled reported. The changelog confirms it, and the rows it moves now carry the changelog as their basis.
What moved, in Bulkhead's words "so they are more of a choice":
| Item | Was | Now |
|---|---|---|
| Forward Operating Base, vendor | $2,500 | $7,500 |
| Large Hammer, vendor | $1,600 | $2,400 |
| Large Hammer, unlock | $25,000, Support 7 | $75,000, Support 8 |
| Medium Hammer, unlock | $10,000 | $25,000 |
| SPH-2 ("Artillery Tank"), unlock | $400,000, level 55 | $500,000, level 90 |
| Z20 Lakota, unlock | $50,000 | $35,000 |
| AH-6M [Miniguns] ("Little Bird"), unlock | $25,000 | $50,000 |
| Ural, unlock | $50,000, Driver 4 | $35,000, Driver 3 |
| Dune Buggy, unlock | $35,000, Driver 10 | $25,000, Driver 8 |
| Kodiak [Pickup] ("Flatbed"), unlock | $15,000, Driver 2 | $35,000, Driver 10 |
The Driver track is "rejigged to give a satisfying escalation through attack vehicles": Kodiak [M249] 8 → 6, Ural Defender 30 → 18, Ural Defender [M249] 40 → 25, Humvee [Minigun] 35 → 30. The L2A6 ("Heavy Tank") keeps level 35 but its gate moves from the account-wide Wardog level to the Driver track. On the account track the Deagle drops from 90 to 85, the Sport Parachute from 36 to 35 and the Ruck Backpack from 56 to 55; the PP-19's 50-round drum falls from Medic 33 to 29.
One open question closes. The Ural's unlock read $60,000 on the alpha vendor and $50,000 in the snapshot, and the catalogue said so. The changelog lists $50,000 as the outgoing figure: the snapshot was right.
The XP curve, in numbers for the first time
Bulkhead says the beta curves "were designed specifically for weekend long beta tests." The launch curve is unchanged below level 6 and slower everywhere above it, steepest in the teens:
| Level | Was | Now | Slower by |
|---|---|---|---|
| 6 | 8,750 | 9,250 | 5.7% |
| 10 | 25,000 | 35,000 | 40.0% |
| 15 | 54,750 | 110,000 | 100.9% |
| 20 | 111,500 | 250,000 | 124.2% |
| 25 | 192,000 | 325,000 | 69.3% |
| 30 | 293,750 | 400,000 | 36.2% |
| 35 | 416,500 | 500,000 | 20.0% |
| 40 | 551,250 | 650,000 | 17.9% |
| 45 | 689,500 | 800,000 | 16.0% |
| 50 | 838,000 | 1,000,000 | 19.3% |
The stated target: the median player, at 20 to 25 hours, sits around level 20, and "those wanting the big ticket items, the top 5%, will need to grind." Air-vehicle kills pay 250 XP instead of 300, and selling a supply-crate item under $75 pays 1 XP instead of 25. And one line that matters beyond launch day: "Each season we will have a different XP curve with different item orders." Unlock order is seasonal, by design.
The rest of the notes
Fixes rather than figures: a church-roof exploit closed; reports weighted so repeat and bad-faith reporters count for less, with cheater bans announced in-server; voice no longer cuts out after a failed join; a Z20 Lakota balance pass with its pitch fixed and the chase-camera rattle brought down 6 dB; vehicle turrets capped at a maximum rotation speed; and 155 mm, 122 mm and flare deployables now take more loadout room. DLSS Frame Generation can be turned off without a restart, and a long list of crash paths are closed.
Not on this site's rows, so nothing here changes: the 6–10x MRAD and MOA scopes, the supply crates, Music Tape H (Pilot 28 to Driver 23) and the armour-piercing ammunition gates (7.62x54 83 → 82, 5.56 85 → 83).
The patch notes page carries this as the current build, the progression guide walks the tracks, and the live tracker is where to look from 16:00 UTC.
